Not necessarily. It depends on what the cover-up is based in. If it is oil based, than it is more likely to cause clogged pores which can lead to more pimples. Foundations/concealers that are not oiled based are less likely to clog pores therefore, their is less chance for pimples to form. It is important to wash your face of facial makeup before you go to bed. If you have oily skin, using a moisturizer under your makeup without oil can also reduce your chance of getting more pimples. Lastly, oily hair products can end up on your face and cause problems, so try to use products with the least amount of oil and wash your face regularly (but not too much because this can actually lead to more breakouts).

just always clean your face and make sure you take it off at night. It doesn't cause zits, but putting too much on will make your face look cakey and it could clog pores, so only use just enough to cover the redness.

As long as you buy a brand that is oil-free and non-comedogenic (meaning it won't clog your pores), then it won't cause you to breakout unless you're allergic. Just wash it off before bed.

Yes it can. Use an oil-free foundation or concealer, and always wash your face at night with a good cleanser.

it won't if you stick with oil-free, just stick with products that clearly state "oil free" neutrogena makes a great powder cover-up and it actually heals zits as it conceals
