why doesn't stephen colbert pronounce the t in report?

Because the t in Colbert is silent, so he doesn't pronounce the t in repor. Get it?

Because he's Stephen Colbert. That's why. The man is a genius, a god among men. He doesn't need to pronounce T's if he doesn't want to. Besides, it's hilarious. There's a silent T in Colbert. Why not Report?

He doesn't pronounce the "T" in Colbert either. He's just doing it to be funny. Kind of rolls off the tongue, don't you think?
