Once, when I used to smoke, I bummed a cigarette from a guy I had a crush on. I put it in my mouth so he could lite it, and he said, "Wrong side." We laughed about it but I felt like a moron.
So yes, I do hate that.

It doesn't bother me so much as long as it's not in public because people assume I'm drunk. I just take some scissors and snip off the burnt part and it's fine.
