Depends on what you mean by lose. Like a couple people said...

Reynauds is caused by poor blood circulation, which can result in gangrene, or frostbite which can lead to amputation

Diabetes is a similar affect, but where you injure your limbs and don't know it until they become gangrenous and have to be cut off.

A staph infection can cause necrotising faciitis, the flesh eating bacteria disease.

Diabetes can cause poor circulation which may cause a type of 'gangrene' in your extremeties. If this happens it needs to be amputated as it will spread. Not sure if this is what u were looking for??

People diagnosed with Diabetes are warned to care for their hands and feet because of slow healing and circulation problems which can lead to amputation. Don't know if this helps.
