Okay, since my last question I wrote never got posted.....I have a question! I'm 29 weeks pregnant and it hurts to sit down, even to sit on the toilet. It hurts five times as much on the toilet because it feels like I'm opening up inside.

I am also 29 weeks pregnant and have the same problem. The doctor told me it wasn't anything big, Its just the pressure of the baby getting bigger. Try Lying down and putting your legs on a pillow. It helps for me. Good Luck!

I am 35 weeks and remember feeling the exact same thing at 29 weeks. IT was a very odd sensation. WHen i talked to my dr about it he said that it was becasue the baby was head down (at the time) and getting bigger and the baby wasnt supported by the pelvis bone yet so it gives a senstion that you are about to give birth. For me it eventually went away but to be safe i would call your dr. Good luck!

you could be experiancing pre labor.
or sometimes like I did you feel heavy down there. I have a great temporary treatment for that heavyness. Sit in the tub w/warm water and take a small hand full of ground ginger and swoosh it on your vagina. It workx, and as I said temporarly kinda nombs up that area.
If your having pain like pain and not just a heavy sensation, go to the ER ASAP.

I agree with all the others you really should see a dr. Im 28 weeks and I dont have any pain at all like that. It may be nothing but then again it could be something pretty serious. Good Luck I wish you the best!!

Its hard to say if this is normal or not because you haven't stated exactly where it gets sore. It is normal to have different aches and pains during pregnancy, eg- by the time is was 30 weeks it really hurt me to sit down as i had a very sore tail bone

If you feel like the baby is "falling out", you need to go to the dr right away, you may have an incompetent cervix, or other reasons may exist that may cause you to be going into labor prematurely. This is a serious thing, serious enough to warrant a trip to the ER>>

are you having contractions? are you leaking any fluid other than urine from you vagina? do you have good fetal movement? if you are not contracting, not leaking fluid and have good movement then you are probably okay, there is so much stretching of muscle tissue and sking during pregnancy that you really do feel like something is going to fall out at any second, if you stay concerned however, and resting does not seem to help, give you doctor a call, they will be glad to help you

Where does it hurt exactly? It's very common to get hemorhoids from the added stress to your bottom from pregnancy. If you're in that much pain, call your ob/gyn. You never know what it could be. Is this your first pregnancy? If no, have you ever had a c-section?

You should call your dr. I NEVER ONCE had that happen in 4 full term pregnancies.

my wife is 28 weeks preg with our 4th and she says she does the same thing. I would ask your "other" to check you to see if you are starting to dialate if your only at 1-2 your normal and just feeling pressure. dont worry if your 3-5 you need to go get checked by your DR. if your only 1-2 (like my wife) she says she just scoots forward on the toilet when she goes #2 to were it holds the vag shut to make it more comffy to go #2 she says it works for her.
