What cause you to have 'butterflies' in your stomach?

I really like this guy and i always get butterflies when i see or think about him, so i was just wondering why/how your body does that?

it's just how your body reacts to nervousness, excitement, anticipation, or anything that makes your heart rate pick up...it kind of gives your body a natural high
