I teach 3 levels of chemistry. The class that the 11th and 12th grade take is the same basic material as the 10th grade, but it is in much more detail. The students already have a good background in science so I can move at a faster pace and add more depth. The class itself is harder, but it doesn't seem to be quite as hard to the students since they know some of the material and can pick up the rest easier.

it depends
I take Ap chem and it is hard
however, our school statistically has 90% of A students get 5 on the Ap exame and 75% of B students get 5 on the Ap exam.
11th grade chemistry, in my experience is intense. and there are only two ways to do well in that class
1) to be a really good student, take notes, ask questions, make flashcards
2) be interested in chemistry, you learn a lot and it is a fun course if you like chemistry, but if you do not want to major in something related to chemistry... don't take it.

i would suggest you read a little bit of 12th grade chemistry first just to get the difficulty levels and the feel right.jus a bit of organic and other chapters related to the 11 topics.
after this u would feel that 11th chem is a bit easy after all
