Please. You're kidding right?
There's nothing like myth to confuse people. Israel is "expert" at fighting terrorism? Really? How in the hell do you draw that moronic conclusion? If anything they are a text book case for how NOT to deal with terrorism.
First of all, the Israelis embarked on a campiagn of genocide by wiping out Arab villages in Palestine during 1947 and early 1948 - claims that are finally being admitted to. These crimes against humanity were ignored by the west for two simple reasons - guilt over the alleged holocaust and oil.
Setting aside the first reason because it's infantile, we're left with the geomilitaristic reality of needing a base from which to extract cheap oil and run our economy. And thus for five decades we bent over and looked the other way while the Israelis committed a thousand crimes a day against the Palestinians. And then came 9/11. And instead of invading Saudi Arabia that gave us 15 of the 19 hijackers, we invade Iraq. Have you ever wondered why?
Iraq was never a threat to the US, nor is Iran now. However, they both posed a "threat" to Israel as that terrorist state saw it. So ask yourself if who benefits most if the US goes to war with those two countries. Right. Israel.
(I give it maybe an hour before Yahoo deletes this response, which tells me everything I need to know about the so-called people who run this allegedly "free" internet.

the only ingredient "dire" with regard to the american economic device are the media comments, premier to bullsh!t like your posting. Bush inherited a recession from Clinton and since the US began to come lower back out of that interior the 1st 300 and sixty 5 days of the Bush administration, we've enjoyed 7+ years of sustained strengthen, the longest era by using fact that WWII. This replaced into observed by potential of low inflation, genuine activity strengthen, and increasing economic device and very much extra advantageous exports. we've had an strengthen in production jobs tied to exports. The unemployment fee is decrease than at any time in the time of the Clinton administration - even at present. we are no longer even in a recession. The anti-Bush yakkers are so fixated on Iraq that they've thoroughly disregarded the forged diplomatic achievements of the administration. maximum of them are purely no longer attentive to what that involves and are not even able to communicate Doha, WTO, G-8 or NATO. Bush remote places coverage has been a ways from a "failure." The frightening "failure" is the gang of remote places coverage advisers that Obama's campaign has assembled from the losers and rejects of previous Democratic administrations. they are waiting interior the wings to convey back the dignity days of yankee "successes" like the Iran hostage disaster and the Soviet enlargement of the overdue 70s. What we don't choose for is extra Somalias, Ruwadas, united statesColes, etc. Be afraid. Be very, very afraid.

Unless the criminal administration is willing to support a nuke attack in the ME, Israel will be best advised to keep low and keep out.
The proof is there, the world's no1 country cannot defeat the insurgent tactics of the ME fighters and Isreal would be eaten alive if they attempt war against them. Look at what happened in the Lebanon.
The reality is this is not the 1967 war. Arabs are much more sophisticated fighters with the new technologies and weaponry available. #
Bushco need to get our troops out of the region and out of harm's way.

This question makes no sense. How is Israel going to help us in Iraq?? If Jewish soldiers stepped on Iraqi soil, the entire country would erupt. But we do not have to worry about that seeing as the Iraqi government will never allow it.

While it is true that Israel is one of our allies in the mid-east i don't think that they will become a willing member of a u.s lead coalition to any war!
They are already at war have been and will continue to be deep into their mess until the end of time!
I would say they have enough on there plate already!

No one in their right mind would suggest that the people with the most to lose if things go bad in the middle east should even consider assisting .
Can you imagine how the Arab world would react if even one Israeli soldier where to engage in fighting in Iraq .
If not for the possibility of all out war in the middle east I would gladly------ hell lets do it lets send i mean ask Israel to supply just 5000 troops and see what happens . if they refuse we pull out sounds fair to me .

Not very realistic in that it wouldn't "help" the U.S. We are trying to support moderate states in that region, and if Israel militarily assited us in Iraq, these moderate states would turn against us.

Seems they tried and got their butts kicked by Hezbollah.
Might be time for both the US and Israel to wake up.

I think Israel getting involved in this would be like throwing gasoline on a fire. One thing all of these Arab people have in common is that they hate Israel.
