Who portrays Lestat de Lioncourt better and why? Stuart Townsend or Tom Cruse? And who do you think would make a good Lestat(any actor you would want)? I think stuart made the better lestat and captured the personality better, but tom had more of the look. Anyway, Stuart was hotter.

Hate to admit it but Tom Cruise was a far more better Lestat. Stuart Towsend lacked the elegance and class of Tom Cruise's Lestat. The Queen of the Damned movie sucked so bad and the production values were not good. The only good thing about the movie is Aaliyah. I'm a big fan of the Vampire Chronicles and I'm so disappointed with the TQOTD movie.

I think Orlando Bloom may be a good shot at Lestat.

I am trying to figure out who is this Stuart person because I do remember seeing the Tom Cruise version of Lestat. It is almost like asking who would be considered the better Dracula: Bela Lugosi or
Christopher Lee? It all depends on who captured the moment and is more realistic as the character. So, I would say Tom for the Lestat because I have never really seen the Stuart one. Oh, and I like Christopher Lee as Dracula.

I think cruise made the better one, i havent seen queen of the damned, but based on the trailer. I think cruise was more appropriate for the role. I mean he is sucking the life out of kaite holmes... jk.
