Easiest card trick - great for kids: Must have a deck of cards with a picture on the back that is not symmetrical, i.e. you can tell if the card is right way up or upside down. Make sure all the cards face the same way, i.e. the back of the card has the picture the right way up on all the cards. Fan out the cards, but not too wide so it's not obvious they all face the same way, and ask someone to remove a card, any card, and to remember it. Whilst they are doing this, take the rest of the cards, put them back together(unfan them), casually turn them around in your hands so the picture on the back is upside down, then fan them out again. Have a gap in the middle and ask them to replace their card in the deck. The gap is just to mislead them into thinking that is the trick, they will always put it not in the gap. Shuffle the cards, then pretend you are counting(more misleading) as you deal the cards face down one at a time until you come to the card that has the picture on the back the wrong way around. Turn this card over - viola, it is their card ! Don't repeat the trick too often or they will work it out.

That's why it is called a magic TRICK. The magician tricks people while doing the magic. So magic and magic tricks of course are fake.

It's kinda cheesy but it is the disappearing penny. First take a glass cup and trace on a white piece of paper the circumference of the cup. Once you get the exact circle cut it out and use double stick tape to give the glass a top: the piece of circle cut out. Place the paper side of the cup down on a white piece of paper on a table. Never lift the cup! Place a penny on your paper and tell the audience you will make it disappear by sliding the see through glass over it.

Take an ordinary deck of cards flip over the bottom card and keep it hidden. (to keep this card on bottom and shuffle take packet of cards out of the middle of the pack and move to top, repeat rapidly.) Fan the pack and say "Pick a card any card!".
after they take the card if there are observers instruct your volunteer to show the audience the card. While the card is out of the pack casually (sneeze, cough, blow your nose, etc.) while flipping the pack upside down discreetly. Let your volunteer return the card to the upside down deck without fanning the pack. Pocket the cards, flip the bottom card back while the deck is hidden, then proceed to the next trick prematurely. Come back to the deck later to reveal that the card you never saw, magically flipped over in your pocket.
