my car got side swiped. its an 05 pontiac grand am. only damage is to the right mirror thank god. the foundation to my mirror is cracked but its still in place. how do i get it fixed?

bring it to an autobody shop because most likly the new will have to be painted to match

on the grand ams if memory serves me rite are all gloss black.to replace the mirror you will need to pull the door panel.there are 3 10mm nuts that hold the mirror to the door.your local dealership or aout shop will be able to replace it no problem

I went to a junk yard and found one to match- cost about $20 as opposed to $200 the autobody wanted.

You may have to replace the entire thing. If so you can check the junk yards for one -sometimes they even will put it on for you for an additional charge..I'm not sure how much they run tho., sorry.

probably have to replace the whole mirror, 3 bolts 10 mil. holds it on, easy to change, probably have to order one at the dealer or find one in the junkyard.

easy to change. just go to a junk yard. would save u alot of coin doing it that way
