Sea water has salts dissolved in it which enables it to conduct electricity.

Water (the pure H20) is not a conductor. The only thing that makes water appear to be a conductor are the stuff dissolved in it.

And yeah, it's easier to float on sea water.

sea water has salt in it and therefore you cannot drink it---you can drink regular water, assuming it is clean/purified
