I bought my betta 3 weeks ago, 2 or 3 days ago i bought 6 tetra, there not neon tetra, 3 are like white and kind of big for a tetra, the other 3 are orange and the same size. My bettas fins are looking kinda broken. I dont know what to do because i dont ahve another tank or a heater to put him in. The 6 tetras always stay on his side and seem to be like trying to attack him for the past 2 days. anytime one of them gets less than an inch away, he runs like crazy. its a 10 gallon tank with a castle for him to hide in, which he does now. what should i do?

that's too many fish for the tank, they feel cramped, removing some could do the trick or try a 15gallon tank instead.
and whoever said they can do well in half a gallon and the person that said not too big not to small... no fish thrives in 1/2 gallon, it's unhealthy and cruel. and there is no such thing as "too big" the more room the better, no matter what kind of fish. bettas should not be kept in anything less than 2.5 gallons. and they still need heat, and filtration is best.
I'd suggest getting a 15 gallon tank and get a bunch of thick bushy SILK plants. this allows them to hide from eachother when they feel too close. if you can't do this at least add a bunch of silk plants to your current tank.

Get rid of the tetras, they will kill your fighter. Take them back to the shop, regardless of whether or not you get your money back.
I did the exact same thing, but i had a 2year old beautiful fighter in a 33litre divided, filtered, heated, tank, he was on one side and the tetras were on the other, the divider could be taken out from the middle if needed, tetras got into the other side over night, next morning, my fighter was looking pretty ordinary, and i for the life of me didnt know why?
Then i saw one of the neons squeeze through the divider sides, i took them back to the shop, but my beautiful fighter died anyway.

it's a bit unusual for tetras to be harrassing you betta that long, usually they don't fin nip very badly and when they do they eventually stop.
I would suggest you move your betta. They can live fine in a 1/2 - 1 gallon bowl but do still prefer warm water. They will do ok down to the high 60's but like it much warmer as I'm sure you know. Just a basic bowl sitting on a dark surface will be fine for him. Just change the water in the bowl every few days (2-3) and he'll do just fine.

Tetras are avid fin nippers and will attack your betta because they are intrigued by his fins. You need to put your betta in to a tank by him self or the others will kill him.
