When I plugged in my iPOD just a few minutes ago, in my iTUNES it doesn't show that I plugges it in. And I can't turn it on. Just right now a battery sign appeared on the screen. what should I do? is it ruined??? HELPPPP

Typically, you just need to shutdown and try again, if that doesn't work please edit your post and we'll come up with some more solutions!

Try resetting your iPod, there is a whole page about it at the Apple website. Try then to plug your iPod in. If no luck, try restarting your whole system. If all else fails, return it for a new one.

iPODs run on batteries. If the batteries are dead, there is nothing to recognize. Recharge or replace the batteries.
