I guess it would be a challenge to blow in their ear.

I've done it a couple of times (often not even trying). All you need is a large container (I currently have some in a 10 gallon aquarium I'm using as a home for a marbled salamander). Put in some substrate (I have coconut fiber [EcoEarth brand]) about 3-4 inches deep. Keep the substrate moist, but not wet. Add a little veggies or fish flakes for food. Keep the tank on the dark side and around 65-70o. They do the rest.
