Light is necessary for photosynthesis (photo=light, synthesis=putting together). The plant uses light as energy with Carbon Dioxide, and water to produce sugar. Oxygen is a waste product of the process, and my lungs are so thankful!

In what aspect? light doesnt really change plants but it is essential for them in order to go through photosynthesis and grow
