after carefully following her home after work, you need to sneak into her house when she leaves, rummage thru all her crap, look for signs of boyfriends or husbands, say like socks on the floor, empty beer bottles on the coffee table, the toilet lid left up, things like that ...word to the wise, make sure u leave BEFORE she gets back home...otherwise u haveto cower in the hall closet all night long and your back will kill you by morning~~~

Check her hand for a wedding or an engagement ring, or just ask her.
Another option, is to casually ask her friend(s) or someone who knows her.

You ask her. If she says "no", then she's not, if she says "yes" then she is. Seriously the only other way I could think of is eye contact, if she avoids looking you directly in the eye she is probably happily taken.

Look for a ring and if there isn't one that is a good sign she isn't married. Have a conversation and see if she seems interested.
