Sometimes yes and sometimes no. You can become really good at something and it doesn't feel like you worked hard because it was enjoyable all the while you were getting better at it. Other times it will feel like you are working hard and it just doesn't come as easy to get good at it.

Then again, what is "something"? You must have been born with some sort of natural gift, one for which you need not work. Even if that gift is the extraordinary ability to ask ambiguous questions.
