I am confused because I read somewhere that toes shd be hidden.

I do want to add that only a part of the toes is seen through my heels. Just a part of the big toe and the one next to that. Just a lil peep.

It depends on the work place. If their attire is strictly business then they won't allow that. If it's business casual, they will allow it.

it depends where you work. But if you are talking strict business attire (say you work in investment banking, lawyers or some other high class industry) then no, toes should be enclosed and dress conservative.

A D'Orsay slingback can be acceptable, but in a high dress conservative office toes should be closed.
