Yes, laughter is very strange - when I am way stressed, I have on occasion said something when I've meant something else then all of a sudden get the laughter that won't stop - You know the kind that almost hurts and feels good at the same time? Then I may even cry a little on top of it all. What's up with that? I don't laugh when someone gets hurt, but I know some do, I just don't.

this is not nessecarily correct btu what do I know? Sometimes, instead that person would be laughign at themselves too. Laughter is an easy way to brush off mistakes but of coruse nto always teh right way. Society often laughs at soemthing they consider different. Anger is usually caused by fear liek your example, the chairman is probably afraid that the viewers will bring that moment up afterwards. Laughter and Anger are both intersting emotions to study but both are are quick "habits" a person may do to bruish off the situation.
