My son and his father do not get along well, too much fighting. My son wants a new Dad. He said he wants the man who is my boss at work. There is a relationship going on with him and I. But I do not wan to scare this guy, really GREAT guy away with a 6 yr. old who wants a better role model father figure. We are both over 40 yr. old.

I do not let him make all the decisions. But I do listen to his wishes for a better life, better father figure.Someone who does not fight with him. He deserves that much.....

I really feel that you should listen to your sons opinion. However, I also feel that you also have a strong point because your the one who is dating the man and you need a man that YOU feel is attractive and the one who makes you feel good. But also I think that your son is only six years old and there MUST be some type of reson why his doesnt like the guy your with now and by the age of six kids dont really know who they like yet. But girl, just go with you instink and follow your heart...and good luck and I hope I at least helped you a little bit

You CANNOT breed a dog that young. A dog is fully mature when it reaches the age of 2 years old so I would wait until then unless you want to hurt your female dog. That early is like getting a 5 year old girl pregnant(I apologize for the image). You can breed them but you must be extremely careful. The male and female usually tie and are stuck together for 15 minutes to an hour so you must have a lot of control over every dog for this to happen or else a dog fight will occur/a dog will get hurt. Simply letting them breed on their own is natural but also a bit dangerous.

I suggest you move over and let the 6 YO make all the decisions.. hes obviously more competent ...
