Does it merely smell nice, or is it really useful as a disinfectant or anti-irritant?

Contains alcohol so should be a kind of disinfectant! Try it on sunburn - stings like hell at first but quickly cools down relieving the discomfort. (Mum taught me that one).
If the smell doesn't suit you in particular, you can use aftershave as a room fragrance by spraying a little on a turned off light-bulb!

i have to use aftershave when i shave,cause if i dont my face gets sore.its a anti-irritant and also put the moisture back into your face to keep it from getting sore.

It's of no use at all, unless you are from Liverpool or Brimingham, then it becomes you morning tipple until the off licence opens....

If you use a product that contains moisturizers it can be good for your skin. Products with alcohol just burn

stops you bleeding, smells nice and u can brush ur teeth with it if u run out of toothpaste!!

no use. i stopped using it and the $$ is for something else. its a product that churns out $$$ for the manufacturers. dont fall for it
