I'm a big, fat, tall guy (6'7"). I currently drive a Ford F-150, which is very roomy and nice. But it's really too big a car for what I need. I had a '92 Honda Accord EX that was just roomy enough for me to drive comfortably, but since then mid-size cars have become even smaller. How do I find out about cars for tall drivers? What's involved in getting a car modified to move the driver's seat back a few inches? What kind of cars do guys like Shawn Bradley, Yao Ming, and Shaq drive?

those guys pay big bucks. I am not quite big&tall but im too big for lots of small cars, one car that stands out from the pack is a ford five hundred (not 500) since im not your size i cant be sure but it was way more spacious than new accords and camry. also if your in a ford dealer check out the fusion, it might not fit you but if it does its a very cool car.

I had a similiar problem. While I'm not 6'7", I've found it hard to find an economical car for a good price that'll still be large enough for my 6'3" frame. I wish they'd make larger cars that didn't waste so much gas and didn't cost so much. Right now I drive a '92 Buick and I have to push the seat all the way back and the steering wheel all the way up in order to achieve a moderate comfort level.

As for Shaq and Yao? Well, they're paid 20 million dollars a year so they can pretty much either afford to buy any car they want and pay for the 10MPG gas mileage that the car comes with.

i comprehend it truly is extremely opposite of what you're going for, yet did you ever imagine about a stay away from ram srt10? Viper engine... in a huge ol' truck. perhaps a ford lightning? they grant room and luxurious, even as nevertheless being very sporty. The SRT10 will particular blow the pants off of a few thing on the line.

Check into a Ford Taurus. All automakers have height and inside clearance information on their websites. It should be relatively easy for you to find the information you need on those sites.

Chrysler 300, any year. Dodge Intrepid, Chrysler Concorde - all good for tall drivers. Lincoln Towncar also good.

THE FORD LTD OR THE NEWER 500 ARE BOTH GOOD CHOICES.I HAVE FOUND THAT THE SEATS ARE NOT UP TO THE TASK IN MOST SMALL TO MID-SIZE CARS.POWER SEATS OFTEN GIVE YOU MORE ROOM THAN REGULAR SEATS ALSO.
