Because all his other members of his original band are starting to come out, and if he comes out, he's afraid that the girls won't like him anymore.
Or maybe it's because he thinks he's all that and a bag of chips (psychological).

I have no idea Ally...he isn't anything to look at, his music is average, but he does dance pretty well...however, when he opens his mouth, that white-boy rapper accent turns me off....the only good thing I can say about him is that he's good to his Mom and I think that's a good trait to possess...

you know, it didn't take long for his fame to shoot back up after his little inccident at the super bowl a couple of years back. i think he got a little bit more famous.
