I'm going to a wedding social for one of my old friends. We went our own seperate ways for about 5 years and then I found out she was getting married so I sent her an e-mail of congrats and we started talking after that. I've only seen her 3 times in the past year and I haven't seen her parents in 5 years. They actually thought I was a bad influence and asked her not to be friends with me anymore...hence our seperate ways. All is good in my life now but I still kind of dress funky/sexy because of my personality but I kind of want to impress her parents. I don't know why, I just do.

Dress conservatively as long as you're trying to get your foot back in the door, so to speak. A dark colored dress just above the knees with stockings and black shoes.

Elegant if you haven't seen her in awhile blow her away!! & give that elegance your own style maybe somthing red or black....make a sudle statement but yet be bold!!

I think you should wear a nice skirt with a dressy shirt and a cute pair of high heels.
