I would change my mind if I knew he really understood the impact his actions have had on me (us). If he proved that I could trust him, I would keep him.

It wasn't me who wanted the divorce but now since it has been 10 months since we sperated, i still love him, i haven't been with another man or anything but he has been with other women. Even thought i still love him i now want the divorce because i want to find someone that will love me againe, but it would take him wanting to get back together, marraige conceling, and so much more to get me to say no divorce now. Some things just can't be changed though, but if you can forgive and forget, i mean really forgive and forget then stay together and make ground rules nothing like palying mother and father but let them know how surtin things make you fill and make a plan to improve it. I don't wish divorcwe on anyone, because i know how it feels and it hurts more then any pain i have ever known.

My wife and I were on the verge of a divorce about a year and a half ago. We seperated, but while we seperated we really worked on our communication alot, and started talking with each other like we should have been, then after getting back together, we started marriage counceling. The counceling with a pastor from our church really helped.

The only thing that would make me change my mind is action not words. I am in a similar situation and have given my spouse multiple chances to get it together. I have effectively communicated with him what is expected. He still just don't get it, history repeats itself and once a person is a certain age they are who they are and either are unwilling or unable to change. I have been told over and over that he will try and he will do his best, however I find myself having the same conversation over and over..........with no results.

Our relationship had been degenerating so gradually that I never even noticed where it was heading. My steps to the verge seemed so quick because of that. I have always felt myself to be pretty rational, so I stepped back and finally viewed the big picture after discussing events with my wife. I was able to see my own faults so as to be better able to judge hers...I had been as much to blame for my lacking as she had been for her reasoning...
It is as you have always heard, there are two sides to every story, AND it takes two to tango...I know they are cliches but the morality of it shines through. I changed my mind because for so long, my mind had been changed. We have never been better and every day we rediscover each other more. I couldn't be happier!

I can tell you what made me change my mind............I asked my husband to move out......he was gone 5 months and I didn't miss him, NOT at all. After that I knew it was time to file for divorce.
