I beleive that if one could KNOW that they can fly, not think, but KNOW, then it would be possible. It is extremely difficult to truly believe something like that because the laws of the universe are so clear to us, and such a part of our everyday lives. This is how miracles happen. This is also how the law of attraction works.

I fly all the time; it's called astral travel.

The wright brothers really believed that they could fly, and lo and behold! They did!

BUT...When I started working at Little Cesar's, there were these two idiots working there, and one bet the other that he couldn't fly. He said that you can never turn down a bet, then jumped off the roof. Not only did this tell me that the human body cannot fly, it also told me that young men can make poor choices when they are left alone together.

No, but it would be awesome wouldn't it? I was young when I saw the movie Mary Poppins. Do you know I took an umbrella and climbed onto the roof of our garage and jumped off. I really believed I would float like a feather to the ground. I didn't. lol

Oh, people have tried before. With dozens of billions of people having lived on this planet on one time or another, I guarantee you someone has jumped off a tree and spread their arms. Probably not a tall tree though. That old adage that you can do anything you put your mind to only applies to things that comply with the laws of physics.

Who says nobody actually tried?? I HAVE!

Me, 1966 - aged 5. Front porch steps. To my left, the big, giant prickly bush (it was small but seemed huge at the time). I flapped my arms, jumped for lift-off, and landed square on my butt in the prickly bush. I'm 45 and STILL remember this painful experience like it was yesterday.

if we could fly if we really wanted to then why do you think people die from falling off cliffs that would be the time a person would most want to fly but they die anyways

I think we can learn to fly outside of our bodies, like astral travel. Other then that , no we cannot. We do not have the parts like birds do.

That's the theory, but I really wouldn't try to test it from any higher than 3 feet.

I don't think that a human can. God didn't bild us to fly so we cant. also, we would need to be light enough to stay in the air, and alot of other things.
p.s. those of u who don't believe in God, I'm sorry if I offended you.
