Cause I do, and the way they are advertised is ridiculous, because alot of people from online dating sites either lie about their age, use fake pictures and whatnot, what good is that if someone is looking for a serious relationship? I'm not against online dating because I met my boyfriend on aim but why do people spend money on these sites when the people they want to meet are liars? I just dont get it, but then again theres alot of things I don't get.

Not all of them are liars, but online dating sites are pretty sketchy. Many people stretch the truth. Face it....who's going to admit that they just got out of prison...unless someone has a fetish for that kind of thing. Strange enough, I met my boyfriend off of myspace even though now I'm anti-myspace. I deleted my account after we got together. But we didn't just meet right away either. I went ahead and took a chance. And I'm old enough to know better. I wasn't looking for a serious relationship...but it turned out to be one. Things worked out great and we're still together. Who knew?
I've always been hesitant about meeting people online and I sure didn't think I'd find my boyfriend there. But I did.
I don't think I could ever go to match.com or other dating sites. They just aren't for me. And I really can't trust them.

oh my god yes! Its bad when a 10 year old is getting spam in his e mail inbox for dating sights!
