this migh sound a little funny but take a piece of the bottom of a straw broom and burn it to sterilize it. just a little piece. before u go to school, stick it in your hole. after school, put your earring back in. do that for both ears.

A stud is probably way less noticeable than a paperclip and less likely to get infected. When getting your ear professionally pierced, you're instructed to leave the stud in without removing it for 6 weeks if you want the hole to close up and be reusable for other earrings. They also give you a special piercing cleaner, which might be some sort of hydrogen peroxide, to clean around the ear and earring with to prevent infection. And rotate the stud every few hours to prevent the ear from healing around the earring, trapping it into your hear. That happened to me and it had to be surgically removed. No ideas on hiding it, though. Maybe cover it with a bandaid. If you tend to get scratches a lot, no one will care about a bandaid. Although hiding things from your parents isn't cool. Self-expression is really important though. Talk to your parents and maybe they'll let you keep it without having to hide. Parents should be understanding, not controlling and micromanaging.

i don't know if these are available to you or not, but look for skin-colored retainers for your ear holes. Depending on where you get pierced and how long your hair is you could easily hide it that way or start wearing a scarf (which is rather fashionable even for guys ;) ) new piercings are really sensitive at first so I reccommend if you want to take them off for school, that you get your ears pierced on a long holiday ie: spring break

See, that's a problem and so if you can't wear it at school, why even bother getting it peirced?? If you want to wear it to certain places and since you'll have to wear it at school for the first few weeks if you are going to get it, you can cover the peircing by: wearing a hat, wearing earphones, covering it with your long hair (if it's kinda long) and covering it with a band-aid. That's the best that I could think of.

I was going to say just take them out during school, but since you are just getting them? Well, you cannot take them out, so there is no way to hide them. The teachers WILL find them. Just wait until you are out of school!

same thing happened to my brother at work. he put on bandaids, they really do work if they blend in with the color of your skin.
