Wow, what ever happened to actually answering someone question rather then whoring for points. Jeez.
This is coming from a guy, but I really enjoy 'The Notebook". If you're in search of some other great romance movies some that come to mind would be:
Gone with the wind:
Grossing $198.7 million in its lifetime, MGM's 1939 Gone With the Wind tops our list. The dramatic portrayal of a love story set during the Civil War proved to be very successful: It is the No. 1 domestic top-grossing movie of all time, taking in nearly $1.3 billion when adjusted for inflation.
Titanic:
Weaving a love story into the retelling of an historical event proved to be just as successful for Titanic. Grossing more than $600 million worldwide, Titanic is the world's highest-grossing movie of all time and created quite a splash when it came out in 1997. No other movie has even come close to outranking this love boat. Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King, which directly follows Titanic in world ranking, only had total grosses of $377 million.
Some others that come to mind are all the disney classics (i.e. Cinderella, Sleeping Beauty, Beauty & the Beast. Don't forget Pretty Woman & Dirty Dancing.
