I still don't see why the show got low ratings at the Sci-Fi channel. Sure the movies were different than the earlier ones, but they were still hilarious!
There have been numerous MST3K DVD boxed sets if you want to relive the magic of the show! :)

Indeed! Have you ever seen Mystery Science Theater 3000? Great movie as well! Believe it or not that show was on for like 10 years or so!

I miss that show. A couple of friends of mine used to watch it and make jokes about the movies. Ratings went down and the networks took it off the air. - E

More commonly referred to as "MST3000", it was on the air for more than 10 years...but the declining ratings, gradually killed it(as did a cast change in the human form;the robots were left intact!)!...
And there were plans to revive it a few years ago, but they were put on "indefinite hold"...

Ratings I Imagine.. it started out as a 'local show" anyway.. But good news is You can get the past episodes on DVD from Rhino Home Video (where i get mine anyway)..

too many of us dorks enjoyed it and when dorks find joy in something they crush it. Dorks are not allowed to feel joy only the doubt, fear, dread, and self debasement that comes with being an openly dorky person in a world where we are expected to hide our true selves under a venier of cool collectedness. damn you cruel world damn you .

yes it was a good show, one of the best and the reason its not on anymore is because of the low ratings it got when it aired on Sci fi :\
they need to bring it back, im tired of all their crappy cheap low budget movies

I agree. That was one of those love it or hate it cult shows. We loved it. Never missed an episode.

They don't have any fart jokes. A show needs fart jokes in order to survive anymore.
