Yes I do, but I always wear a scarf (hanging veil) in case of unexpected callers. I would not leave the house with rollers in though.

When I was a child -- in the 1960s -- I used to see women, going to the grocery store and whatnot, with curlers in their hair, all the time. I haven't seen this for years. I myself would be embarrassed to leave the house with curlers in my hair unless I was going directly into my car (like if I lived in a house with an attached garage). But then I would take the curlers out before getting out of the car.

You could do it but if you hair is like mine and you get too hot while you doing housework it makes the hair in the curlers frizzy.

I got rid of the curlers when the curling iron came in. Curling irons are so much faster and you don't have to sleep on those things.Make the change!!

no not a good look, I use a curling wand, faster and better curls!
