We have many in the house and they are played with so I don't want to put them in storage just keep in something. I have seen people use bookcases, are there any other alternatives?

Bookcase is too big for the available space and conventional toy boxes cannot hold them all!

Toy nets. You keep stuffing in toys and they keep stretching. (Toys R Us)

Get toat which are big huge containers then put them all in the container then if you live in a town house or apartment
put them in a closet and if you live in a big house put them in the basement or a closet write me back

When my son was a little boy, I strung a hammock across one corner of his room and piled the stuffed animals in it.

put a spescies of an animal on one side, for example; cats on right, and dogs on left. or you could just get an account with u-storage.

put shelves up near the ceiling around the room
