I have only seen season 1 and 2 of the new series and it is the most inteligent show in my opinion. If you listen to the comentary you can trully understand how genious it really is. Not sure what made you think that it's bad but I hope you continue to watch :)

I guess it is all a matter of perspective. I, along with many others, think it's the best show on TV. I admit, having loved the original series, getting used to Starbuck and Boomer being women took some doing but I eventually accepted it. Now I can't wait for each episode to see what happens next.

When the "revised" series(on SciFi) had NO Boxey OR his daggit(Muffit 2)...

When Baltar was reduced to being a submissive wimp in the presence of the Cylon leader "#6"...

When Richard Hatch(the original Apollo on the original series) conceded defeat and guest-starred as a prisoner on the current series...

When they remade Starbuck into a cigar-chomping *****!...

When there was more than one "Boomer"(the rest were Cylon clones!)...

When they...well, what can I say?

This current series SUCKS to a certaqibn degree!...
