because we are usually "one of the guys" and so they don't see us as girls more like thier friends but what you need to do is everyonce in a while where something thats really girly and do you hair and make up and nails to show them your a girl too.

Well I have found in alot of athletic girls that they seem to be really...dominant. Alot of my friends say that athletic girls are manly. You should try to be a LITTLE more girly. try wearing some skirts and a little makeup or something of that nature and most likely some guys will start to see past the "masculentity" and they will ease up to you being a girly girl. but dont go too overboard becuase then people will start to call you fake. So over like 5 months start getting more and more girly. Good Luck!! :)

I think that is extremely untrue... I have been the tomboy athlete all my life, and I've never had a problem with attaining boyfriends... You just need to find a guy who likes athletic girls, over non-athletic girls, and trust me there are many of them out there...

guys love it when we're really girly. I don't mean whiney highschool girl girly, i mean primpy and cute without coming off as too whorish or high matenience. most guys prefer long hair, i've heard many guys say they enjoy watching their girlfriends primp up for a date on the town, etc. someone else already said guys want to be the big tough dominant ones, and that's true. :)

My friend is going out with a guy and she is like totaly in to softball. I don't know athletic girls are normally in really good shape and are really skinny.

Hmm..
I would think they don't get too many guys because
- The boy feels he needs to be the dominant one in the realtionship
- And maybe the boy considered her a friend or teammate and would like it to say that way.
