That would depend on what sort of end you think it might take, there are three possible answers:
natural - where the sun dies and swells up to become a red super-giant, and engulfs all the inner planets as far as mars, but that won't happen for another 5 billion years and our descendants will have plenty of time to escape to other planets.
nuclear - where a war is started between two countries that escalates to nuclear warfare and finally...
cometary impact - where the earth is hit by very large asteroid or meteor.
In the last two cases I would hope to be as far from these events as I can be to increase my chances of survival.

When the world ends, does that mean it will be the total devastation of the planet, or just the catastrophic end of civilization as we know it? I'd really like the chance to be left behind after whatever disaster happens to help rebuild a new civilization.
