I m a Indian presently working in Entebbe, Uganda. Now I have got a job offer from a company in Salalah, Oman. For the visa processing they need my medical report from a certified doctor for Oman. Since I m planing to go to Oman directly from Uganda, please help me with the format of the medical report and advice me, about whom I must have to consult in Uganda for the medical checkup. Or give the details of persons who can help me in this situation. It is very urgent.

All that the Government of Sultanate of Oman, wants from you is a medical certificate issued by a Government Medical Authority of the Country where you reside or a certified Doctor for Oman. To my knowledge there is no specific format. If need be you can get this clarified by Omani Embassy or Consulate in Uganda. As one who had worked for eight years in the Sultanate of Oman, including in Salalah I can tell you Oman is one of the most friendly Countries in the World. And Salalah is the Best place to live with moderate weather all round the year in the whole of Gulf. It is a beautiful Seaside Town. Best wishes.
