though some will claim he fought for Bolivia, he did it with bloodshed and his home country was Argentina. He was guaranteed a position in the Bolivian hierarchy if he would have succeeded. Oh, and he also sat Castro in his seat he currently holds. please argue that with your "edit"

not unless they really did believe that:
killing millions for the 'good of society',
being entierly intolerant of others points of view,
crushing dissenting opinion with lethal force, and the implementation of a modern caste system
are all good things that need to be repeated frequently and with vigor.
just proof that if you have enough idiots/ignorant people anything can be marketted to make money.
that is the only good side to those shirts...they are feeding the capatilist system that communism so despised.
isn't irony funny sometimes!

They would wear the Che t-shirt if they knew anything about ideals and fighting for the downtrodden. You may not like Che but he was an idealist who left a life of ease in Cuba to go fight and die for the rights of Bolivian peasants. Try to find that kind of idealism among the U.S. administration.

I wondered the same thing when I saw white kids wearing "Malcolm X" paraphenalia. If they knew anything about what they were promoting for symbols they would not be advertising them.

The only way they'd know is to send them to live in Cuba for a year. That would cure 'em.
