Excuse me, Republicans, but there isn't a valid, logical comparison there.
Do you think most people go, "Oh I think I'm going to get into an accident today because my rich friends need more money?"
No comparison at all.

Expounding: Ok, there are Republicans in this forum saying that the deaths caused by car accidents are the same thing as our soldiers in Iraq.

H.C. Wills, I think we should get out of Iraq. NOW. It's an illegal war and what, 80% of the Iraqis want us out? Better stop meddling in other country's affairs and start getting our own in order. Let's start by stopping Republicans from propping up and knocking down people like Saddam and Osama Bin Laden. Why don't you hear about Reagan and Bush I giving money and weapons to both Saddam Hussein and Osama Bin Laden? Republican "logic" got us into this mess and we need to start putting our trust in people that actually have logic.

And yes, yalerower, you're absolutely right. So why do people in your party compare the two as if they are the same thing? Maybe because they're cold and callous? What do you think?

A previous answer promoted that car accidents kill more people than George Bush's War, a typical uncaring, stupid analogy that misses the point of our uncaring, stupid President.

"If, out of one hundred,000 motorcyclists, one thousand get in injuries vs out of one hundred,000 automobile drivers, 15,000 get into injuries, the information on fatalities/injuries/etc are form of moot, given which you're 15 circumstances greater possibly to get right into a automobile accident than a bike accident. " this may well be a thoroughly incorrect information of threat and archives. No, you haven't any longer have been given a factor. no longer a appropriate one, besides.

No people don't do that. Nor do people move into harms way in a war. I was using that example to illustrate that people die in many ways. Some of them are unavoidable, but rather than arguing about semantics, answer the question. Do we abandon the Iraqi people and go home. Surely Iran has no interest in Iraq, or do they? Who do you think we are fighting?

If Ted Kennedy is driving the car, you would be safer in Iraq with the Marines. As for Bush lying about WMD, google: Iraq chemical weapons factory. You will see that we have found enough WMD in Iraq to kill over a million people, and it is the liberals like you who are lying because you hate Bush so much you will invent any lie to try to fool the gullible. How sick...

It's a pretty dismissive comparison. It helps things look so much better in Iraq, I suppose....but it's still a rotten war based on faulty premises.

Yes! But instead of a car accident it's a seven car pile-up.

I am a straight out, to-the-point conservative, so: What the hell are you talking about? Ummmm car accidents and the war on terrorism have very little in common. And if i'm embarrassing my etire party, somebody please explain it to me.
