no, they just hook up a moniter like when they take the baby's heartrate and one to see if you are having any contractions, and you just hang out there for 15-30 minutes. no pain, no problems, just to make sure everything sounds right.

There are no needles or anything. I actually had to have a stress test every week until delivery starting at 30 weeks. It is just electrodes that they place on your belly to listen to the baby's heart rate related to how many times the baby moves. Very painless

i've had a stress test done every visit since christmas day when i was in the hospital. you sit in this chair and they strap to straps that contain monitors to you, one monitors your babys heart beat, the other monitors if your having any contractions that you may not be noticing. there are no needles and it doesnt hurt, you just sit there and relax.

It's really simple. They strap two bands around your tummy. One is to monitor you for contractions and the other to monitor the baby's heartbeat. Doesn't hurt a bit. I usually just took a nap. LOL

im pretty sure its just a monotor thing they hook up to you and the longer you stay on there a piece of paper comes out of the machine with lines on it. it shows the heart rate and if you have contractions.
it doesnt hurt

i have 2 of those every week... they are just checking if baby's heartbeat is ok and that he is moving or breathing (practicing). It doesnt hurt.

No they just hook a belt like thing on your belly(not tight) and they will listen to your babies heart beat to see if its irregular. Dont worry.
