In captivity, usually about 5 years. With proper care, 25-40 years. In the wild, probably about 20 most of the time, but at least one is known to be over 100!

Turtles can live to be up to 100 years and more, but Box Turtles live to be aqround 40 years old.

The life expectancy of a box turtle is 50 - 60 years, but they can live longer if cared for properly, living to 80 - 100 years!

box turtles can live for a very long time (like tortoises) there have been some that were known to be 100 yrs old but I think from what I read that average is 25-75 yrs

The oldest box turtle on record lived to be 120 years old. 70 to 80 years old is supposed to be average. Captive average is probably more like 4.

well in finding nemo crush is 150 and he says that is still young. So i'd say over 150.
