Put your IP Address as 192.168.1.100
Also, be sure to check the box to Use DHCP!

the problem here is that you don't need to put in the ip address, you need to "bridge" your modem for this to work. after you do this, the ip address will automatically be found. also this is the setting that should be check in you router properties, don't change anything, if you did reset everything back to the default settings!!!. CALL your Internet provider tech line and they will tell you the same thing and walk you through the steps one by one to bridge the modem....

If you have a static IP address then your internet provider should have given it to you. If you have a dynamic IP address then it could change everytime you connect and you have to set that up differently.
Did your IP give you a static IP address?

you dont want static, u want it to assign automaticly... start, run, type cmd then enter, now type ipconfig there will be your current ip...email me if you need more help setting it up, i can help with security too

Make sure nothing is blocking the signal, ex. stone fireplace, wooden furniture, television, etc.
