I'd have to say The Illusionist.
Though I think Crank was a terrific action movie, I adore the storyline of The Illusionist. Depends on what your mood is, I suppose.

I haven't seen the Illusionist, but it looked a bit like a "chick flick"--still looked like a pretty good movie.

I saw Crank--Let me start with how much I loved the Transporter and enjoyed Transporter 2----This was not in the same league. The story was stupid, the action was half descent, but not worth the time of my life that I lost watching it. You may want to watch if you want to see Jason Statham's butt--this didn't help me though.

Good luck

It really depends on the kind of night you want. Crank is a pretty good action movie with lots of guns, sex, and violence. The illusionist was also very good but a thinker. It is really all up to you, either one is a good choice.

Definately The Illusionist. I really enjoyed it.
Crank was terrible.

I hated Crank, and I'm an action fan. Eventhough I haven't seen The Illusionist, I'd recommend that over Crap...I mean Crank.

the Illusionist is a little slow, but Ed Norton does a great job.
Crank is more over the top action, it depends what type of movies you like.
I would pick Crank, just because I found the Illusionist a little slow, but it is a good movie regardless.

I saw both, and absolutely despised "Crank"... far too typical cookie-cutter action junk in my opinion.

"The Illusionist" was stunning !! The plot, the acting, the cinematography... all incredible. I watched it three times !!
