My Southern Baptist Granny was dead set against dancing. On the other hand they left snakes alone!!! They sure had no tambourines!!! LOL
Never heard anybody whoop it up like the Pentecostals next door.
If I had to attend a church, it would be a black peoples' church. They have bass, drums, and GITtars, and man, can THEY dance!

It depends on what your belief is, and what you are looking for in going to church. Some churches are more entertaining, others focus strictly on scripture reading.
I've been to a few different types of churches.
Southern Baptists are very "fun". Lots of singing, dancing, and tamborines.
Catholic churches are very deep in ritual and tradition.
Pentacostal churches focus on scripture and drilling it into your head, speaking in tongues, and healings.
