Guppies

There may be more. Petco is on of the better places to get fich but petsmart is better. I however highly recommend going to a privately own pet store in your area. They will be more helpful and have a better selection.
Guppies are the easiest fish to breed.
Male mollies a large dorsal fin and a gonopodium (modified anal fin).
Male guppies have longer, more colourful finnage and are smaller than females, which tend to be dull coloured. However, the most definitive feature in males is the gonopodium - a stick-like modified anal fin (used in breeding), instead of the normal rounded anal fin in females.
There are pictures on the one of the pages I attached. The other is directions for breeding.
When breeding I recommend setting up a second tank ... babies escape from breeding nets and sit get eaten by bigger fish no matter how many plants you have. Plus it is just easier for them to be seprate. Feel free to ask me anything. I have been breeding livebearing fish for 4 years now.

First, you need to get a book about fishkeeping. Or do some internet research. You can not just put water in the tank and start adding fish. I am guessing that the silver molly was in the tank already. I hope that you did not change all the water and things from the tank when you moved it.

Molly's like a little aquarium salt in their water. In a tank that (one tablespoon per 10 gallons of water) Add the salt to the water before you put the fish in the tank. When doing water changes, only add enough salt for the clean water you are putting in, not another tablespoon.

Molly's are live bearers, so be sure to buy only males or only females. If you want them to have fry, one male to 3 females is a good combo.

Find a store that specializes in aquariums and buy your fish and supplies from them. Petco, Petsmart, Petland, etc are not good places to buy fish. They don't specialize in any specific area don't tend to be as knowledgeable as an aquarium shop.

Hope this helps and Happy fishkeeping

Junie is exactly right. Go get a good book about fish keeping and steer clear of the mega store places to buy fish.... No Petco, no Petsmart, no Walmart etc... find a good independent aquarium shop, that's the best bet!

mollies breed very easily. just get it a mate. you can sex them by a fin on the bottom that males have to fertilize the female. they give birth to live babies so you need some place for the babie to hide out in. if you google breeding mollies you will have more information than you ever wanted.
