the design, if they do change, would be one that was created by Reebok. They might not change, the GMs have to vote on it first. The last time they tied, they did not approve a change, and the vote was rumored to be 0 out of 30.
I can tell you that right now there is a poll up on the Canes website polling whether or not people like the new jerseys. carolinahurricanes.com, if you want to vote. and it probably makes a difference too- If fans like them, they will probably say yes.
If they do change, the same type of uniforms that we sawy in the all star will be used.

No, this is a new design RBK (aka: Reebok) introduced at the All-Star game last month. They are changing the jerseys, socks and pants. It's a more fitted jersey that is supposedly lighter material, water resistant and more breathable.
They were helped by Sidney Crosby (sponsored by RBK) in designing the new equipment last summer.

The Nike swift jerseys from the Olympics were awful. RBK is also moving towards a new style jersey for next year, however they received much input from current players wheras Nike just did things on their own.

The jerseys are changing, tighter, water repelling jerseys, tight socks that hold the shin pads in place without using tape, and they're thinking about making it mandatory to tuck the jersey in, unlikely to happen. Its to reduce the amount of holding penalties to speed up the game.

NO not what the USA used in the Olympics. its what they wore at the All-Star game from RBK. this has nothing to do with the US. the NEW jerseys will be in next year it was said at the all star game don't listen to the guy on top of me.
