1/2 + 1/4 = 3/4
1 - 3/4 = 1/4

If 3/4 of the drawer was filled with apples and pears, and 12 peaches make up the remaining quarter, then there are 12 pears (1/4 drawer) and 24 apples (1/2 drawer).

If 1/2 the drawer was apples, 1/4 was pears, there's only 1/4 left to fill and it held 12 peaches. Therefore there are also 12 pears and there are 24 apples. You will have to draw a rectangle or a square and show 2/4 and 1/2. the first quarter is your pears, the second quarter is your peaches and the final half is your apples.
Next time don't put all of your fruit in one drawer. LOL

well if 1/2 of his drawer is filled with apples, and 1/4 with pears, that leaves 1/4 to be filled with peaches, so 12 = 1/4 of the drawer
assuming the fruit was all the same size that would mean there were 12 pears and 24 apples

answer:: 12 pears and 24 apples
to find answer think about it in fraction form
1/2(apples)+1/4(pears)+12 peaches=1
1/2=2/4
2/4+1/4=3/4(apples and pears)
1-3/4=1/4
1/4=peaches
1/4=pears=12 pears
(1/4)(2)=1/2
1/2=apples=(12)(2)=24 apples

12 peaches = 1/4 of total
also equalling 1/4 of total = 12 pears
equalling 1/2 of total = 24 apples
