They vote for something on the same basis as Bush. If things don't go right, they accuse Bush of mishandling it but accept no responsiblity themselves.

Most Dems aren't just two-faced, they are six-faced or seven-faced. From Iraq to the economy, Dems act like a bunch of spoiled little children.

If you objectively stand back and watch, you may want to replace Dems with "most politicians".

Pick a politician and go google video or youtube their name. Compare videos from 2000, 2003, 2006 and whatever else you can find.

Usually the results are humorous on both parties involved. The back and forth quotes are great and change based on who they are talking to and who they are courting for votes that month. Here's one for John McCaine, a Republican.

"I’d love to see a point where it is irrelevant, and could be repealed because abortion is no longer necessary. But certainly in the short term, or even the long term, I would not support repeal of Roe v. Wade, which would then force X number of women in America to [undergo] illegal and dangerous operations."
__ To the San Francisco Chronicle

"STEPHANOPOULOS: Let me ask one question about abortion. Then I want to turn to Iraq. You’re for a constitutional amendment banning abortion, with some exceptions for life and rape and incest.

MCCAIN: Rape, incest and the life of the mother. Yes." __An ABC inteview.

So as you can see, a politician's point of view changes depending on who they are talking to.

Do the exercise yourself and you will find the results sickening, no matter what party you are in.

Lordso has the best answer and if you can't see that, you're blind.
I mean, heck, was it two-faced for republicans under Reagan to support Saddam Hussein by selling him weapons of mass destruction and then for the two Bushes to go after him because they didn't support him and he had weapons of mass destruction?

Let's see, you must be talking about Iraq...first of all, may dems didn't vote for the war. Second, many of them who did have admitted that they made a mistake. Third, Bush as Commander in Chief made the bad decisions, trusted the wrong people, implemented the bad policies and must bear the majority of the responsibility for his blunders.

uh... same basis as Bush?... so he looked in the mirror and told himself that it was going to be an easy, cheap and fast war and believed it... so that's why he invaded?

that was the basis that many Democrats voted for the war... Cheney himself spelled it out on meet the press right before the war started...

so... are most Republicans liars? almost everything his administration has said about the war, before the war started, was wrong... if you speak an untruth... it's a lie... even if it was out of ignorance...

Is your buddy Bush two-faced too, now that he's also "disappointed" in his stupid war?

Oh...that's right..only liberals are allowed to change their minds.

At least the Dems have an excuse. They had bad information fed to them by the warmongers, BuShell and CheneyBurton.

They accepted it because our President speaks with a forked tongue. When is he going to take responsibility for his failures?

You are so right, like when they were for the war and then they aren't then they are. Now they aren't. If we win this war they will all of a sudden be for it, have always been for it and backed the president up all the way.

Thats the experience I have had with them.
Twenty years as a Democrat and nothing changed.
So I changed parties.

At least nothing has changed -
