Why, oh why do people insist on believing that introversion is bad, or something to be gotten rid of?? Many of the greatest minds in the world, who have shaped the course of human thought and scientific progress have been serious introverts. (Socrates, Descartes, Newton, Einstein, JFK, Shakespeare, Mother Teresa, MLK, QE II to name just a few.)
Embrace it! You might need a lifestyle change, away from the corporate world so rife with extroversion, but being an introvert can enhance, and even be the cause of great things, deep compassion, and profound creativity.

Become a sales person you either learn how to talk to people or you starve that forces you to try harder because nobody wont to starve your natural instinct will take over. The company that you work for will teach you all you need to know and say after awhile it becomes natural plus you earn money doing it .

If you are looking for courses that will help you be more extroverted... You can take courses... but it won't change the essence of who you are.
I was involved with Toastmasters... and I also did Forensics/Speech... it helped me to learn to talk in front of people, but it didn't really change my introversion.

Start with an acting class, tell the teacher your shy, and would like to start with group scenes, instead of monologues, don't be scared Theater people are very helpful with shy people, and it's lots of fun, good way to meet new people too!!!

Join your local Toastmasters Club. They are wonderful people who will help you learn to express yourself in front of others.

Have you ever thought about theatre?I know that's what helped me come out of my shell some.
