my son was at the doctor 2 days ago and was diagnosed with upper respitory infection, and i was told to watch for rsv symptoms,any ways what are they, hes 6 months old,and really congested, coughing and when i put my ear to his back it sounds like a creeky rocking chair. no fever..100.1 should i worry

When he breathes, can you see his ribs? Does he look like he's having problems getting a good breath? Do you hear a wheeze? (sounds a little whistly) Any of these, you need have him seen again.

take him back to the hospital do not take any chances they had to give him some type of medication.

Do a search for rsv on google. I do know that most children get rsv at one time or another but if your child was premature, then it can be fatal.

yes, rsv can kill babies look it up on the internet try webmd.com to look for things that might help, i know a humidifer will.
